Vehicle Registration:

Vehicle registrations are provided by the Town Clerk. His office is in the Town Hall:

Existing Vehicles:

Vehicles must be registered each year. Usually registration occurs in your birth month. Go to
the Town Clerk's office and he will already have your registration forms printed.

There will be a fee - paid to the Town of Benton - for each registration. Cash or check is
acceptable.

After you register your vehicle with the Town Clerk take the registration to the Grafton County
vehicle registration office in North Haverhill. They will issue the license plate sticker and will
charge you a fee for the license as well as a small fee for the registrar.

When you have your license stickers you must have the vehicle inspected. For those who live
in Benton, this can be done at the Coventry Garage by appointment.

New Vehicles:

Bring the bill of sale and vehicle documentation to the Town Clerk. He will assist with title and
registration. Fees will be assessed and paid to the Town of Benton.
